Susan A. Marks is a dedicated family law and personal injury attorney who provides clients with excellent representation in child custody, divorce and car accident cases. As a divorce attorney who frequently works with victims of complicated family relations and negligent conduct, Ms. Marks takes care to express empathy and consideration towards her clients to help them feel comfortable in a tumultuous time.

During her time at SAM LAW OFFICE LLC, Ms. Marks has served hundreds of clients in child support, child custody, and divorce cases. Since no two clients come from the same situation, Ms. Marks actively listens to her clients and confirms that their financial situation is steady and that their needs are being met. As someone who values a trustworthy relationship with her clients, Ms. Marks will always be frank when it comes to informing her clients about what she can and cannot achieve for them. 

When a client comes in with severe injuries caused by an auto accident, a medical professional or another wrongdoer, the ultimate source of justice lies in the successful litigation of their case. No matter if the client’s case requires expert witnesses, a full-scale jury trial, or a simple hearing, Ms. Marks endeavors to successfully represent her clients. For some clients, a peaceful resolution is preferable to a more intense legal battle. Ms. Marks respects her clients’ wishes by encouraging prompt, efficient resolution of issues, especially in cases involving children. However, do not underestimate Ms. Marks’s ability to aggressively fight for her clients’ rights.

Ms. Marks brings a diverse background of professional experience to her legal endeavors. After completing her undergraduate studies at the University of Wisconsin at Eau Claire, she began working as an administrator at a nursing home. Ms. Marks then proceeded to become the executive director of Midwest Orthopedic Network, LLC, managing a vast network of over 120 orthopedic physicians. Having held numerous executive positions, she has worked for some of the largest hospitals, physician groups and health plans in the area. Before she founded SAM LAW, OFFICE, LLC, Ms. Marks worked as an editor at CCH Incorporated. There, she analyzed the health law areas of HIPPA, OIG, antitrust, Medicare, stark provision and false claims or qui tam. 

Notably, Ms. Marks participates in other areas that assist individuals through her time as a volunteer at area domestic violence shelters and her active engagement in numerous legal industry groups.
